Our colorfast acrylic and polyester fabrics impress with their brilliant, long-lasting colors and, thanks to special impregnation, are particularly easy to care for, dirt-repellent and water-repellent.

Long-lasting colors thanks to spinneret dyeing

To ensure that you can enjoy vibrant or delicate colors for a long time, we only use spinneret-dyed yarns. The color pigments are already stored in the fiber – comparable to a carrot that is colored all the way through. The result is fabrics that remain colorfast and lightfast, even after many years of intense sunlight. In contrast, yarns that are dyed afterwards lose their brightness more quickly.

Sustainability with recycled PET

If you value environmental awareness, Lewens has the right solution for you: polyester fabric made from up to 85 percent recycled PET. Here, hundreds of plastic bottles are processed into high-quality awning fabrics – with significantly reduced CO₂ emissions, lower energy consumption, and up to 90 percent less water consumption in production. This allows you to combine sun protection with a contribution to sustainability.

Certified safety

Our acrylic and polyester fabrics are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This seal guarantees that the fabrics are free of harmful substances, non-toxic, and odorless. You can therefore be sure that your awning fabric meets the highest quality standards – tested according to international norms.

Acrylic

The classic among awning fabrics: textile feel, durable, UV-resistant and ideal for folding arm, glass roof and facade awnings.

Orchestra MAX

The “all-weather” acrylic fabric. Water-repellent, colorfast, with high UV protection (UPF 50+) and easy to clean – perfect for pergolas and large folding arm awnings.

Polyester

Particularly elastic, smooth and wrinkle-free. With a soft surface and very good winding properties. Suitable for folding arm and glass roof awnings.

Recycled polyester

Made from up to 85% PET bottles – high-quality workmanship, with a certified better environmental balance. Suitable for folding arm and glass roof awnings.

Screen Sergé

PVC-coated fiberglass fabric with 1% or 3% transparency – durable, color-fast, and ideal for vertical awnings.

Soltis Proof W96

Water-repellent, transparent, and UV-resistant – ideal for weather protection pergolas such as Positano.

Soltis Perform 92

4% transparency, blocks up to 97% of heat and reduces energy costs – ideal for vertical awnings, marquees, side awnings and Vario Valances.

Précontraint 302

PVC-coated, water-repellent and opaque, stable and dirt-repellent – especially for folding awnings and weather protection pergolas.

All Lewens fabrics absorb more than 90 percent of UV radiation, providing reliable protection against skin damage. The internationally recognized Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) certifies this protective effect.
